Congratulations, you have reached Pano id 1000. Though there does seem to be a bit of a gap between 997 and 1001 :)

What happened to the missing four images? Anyway, I know that you may not yet actually have 1000 panos in the collection, but you must be quite close now!

In fact it is not 1000 yet. The missing ids are those of panoramas uploaded but then deleted.

For example, I experimented with some new features lately. And those deleted experimental uploads are the missing photos 997-1001...

I know that feeling - the image ID count on Panoramic Earth is also a little higher than the actual number of images on the site, though the counter on the homepage is accurate. Still, it must feel quite an achievement.
